Two terms worth knowing.

Credentialing Event

Any time a provider moves to a new facility (new hospital system). Does not include reappointments at an existing facility.

Reappointment

Renewal of privileges at a facility where the provider is already credentialed. Included at no additional charge for annual plan subscribers as a retention benefit.

Additional credentialing events

Your plan includes one credentialing event per year. Joining a new or different hospital system beyond that is $1,000 one-time per event.
